Het boek is moeilijk in te komen, tot en met hoofdstuk 2/3. Daarna begint het echte werk te komen. Wat mooi is aan dit boek is dat de omgeving op een poëtische wijze worden geschetst. Het verhaal is interessant, voornamelijk omdat je iets, een deel uit het leven van de auteur in het boek op de een of andere manier ziet terugkomen.
