De Sangean DDR-47 BT heeft 20 verschillende station zenders waarvan 10 DAB+ en 10 FM zenders. De radio heeft Bluetooth waardoor je draadloos muziek kunt luisteren. Op de radio zit een display waar je DAB informatie en DAB service kunt aflezen. Ook kun je via een AUX ingang muziek luisteren vanaf je MP3-speler, iPhone of iPod. Je kan voor audio een versterkt luidsprekersysteem aansluiten aan de de radio waardoor je nog meer kunt genieten van je favoriete muziek. Een van de USB-aansluitingen levert een vermogen van 5V / 1A max. waardoor je smartphones, leeslampjes en cup warmers kunt opladen.
Op de Sangean DDR-47 BT zit ook een verstelbare timer en een snooze functie, uitgerust met een infrarood afstandsbediening.
