Three weeks later, he begins to worry. But when a mysterious girl arrives on his door step with a letter from his master, Flint is tasked with retrieving a magical artifact that can awaken an ancient evil.
And so Flint and the girl set out with his best friend Hector and a fellow wizard-in-training named Noeri. Hector, a charming geek who hunts both monsters and women. Noeri, a strong willed French witch that makes the mage’s heart flutter, although he’d never admit it.
Find the artifact, keep it away from a psychotic vampire, and don’t get eaten by werewolves. Or murdered by mercenaries. Or seduced by succubi. It’s a dangerous occupation, the magic business.
