Ik heb dit boek aangeschaft omdat ik het niet altijd handig vond om mijn telefoon als naslagwerk te gebruiken. Een boek kun je ernaast leggen en valt niet steeds uit zoals een telefoon. Er staan super veel basis naaitechnieken in dit boek, maar bijv. ook uitleg over stoffen en fournituren. Het is helder en duidelijk vormgegeven met veel foto's om uitleg te geven bij wat er verteld wordt. Het is wel in het Engels, dus als je daar niet zo goed in bent zou in een Nederlands naslagwerk boek gebruiken, zoals die van Knipmode (die heb ik zelf niet geprobeerd). Het boek is niet te groot qua 2D afmetingen en dus makkelijk mee te nemen of naast je naaimachine te leggen.
