Flip up helmets have a certain sense of dullness around them, right? Not this one! If you're looking for awesome styling and everyday usability, the Simpson Darksome is the way to go! Taking the radical looks from its cousing, the Simpson Venom, the Darksome is perfect for street, custom and cruiser riders who want a practical helmet but don't want to compromise on looks. The UltraLight Tricomposite Blend (carbon, Kevlar, fiberglass) outer shell comes in two sizes and comes in at only 1510 g (+/- 50g) for a size medium. The large face shield is Pinlock Max Vision prepared (Pinlock lens included) and scratch resistant. On the inside you will find a drop down sun visor. On the front of the helmet you will find the instantly recognizable air intakes on the chin and 2 strategically placed, adjustable vents at the top. At the rear of the helmet you will find 2 exhaust ports underneath the spoiler and 2 exhaust ports on both sides.

The interior is anti-microbial, moisture wicking and is of course removable and washable. On the chin strap you will find a trusty double-d ring buckle for maximum safety and easy adjustment.
