Karen O'Driscoll has suffered tragedy in her past, but she has built herself a new life in Dublin City. Lately however, Karen's dreams have been haunted by a terrifying mythical figure and the lands she roams while sleeping are becoming as real to her as the waking world. When she meets Marcus, she starts to feel safer in both worlds. He is at once exotic yet familiar. As she gradually begins to understand what these nightmares might mean, the land of her dreams and the mysterious Irish landscape which appears to have shaped it start to bleed into each other.
