Tears of the Civil War

A reader friendly book written in three parts, "Tears of the Civil War" will take you on a journey that is sometimes gruesome, often unbelievable but always interesting and informative. Part One is a fictional but historically correct story of youth, love, war and death. Travel along with Tobias Dobbs from joyful youth to a war filled with blood and pain and then on to a place where all that is left are memories.


Part Two is the real war. Young men go off to find glory but end up in a hell none of them could have imagined. This is war in all its most horrible detail.


Part Three is the aftermath. The problems the soldiers brought home with them added to an already suffering nation. The South is devastated by war and the atrocious criminal acts of the Federal armies. The North also has to cope with problems.
