Definitieve vier cd-collectie van R&B-legendes BT Express. Inclusief de albums 'Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)', 'Non-Stop', 'Energy To Burn', 'Function At The Junction', 'Shout! (Shout It Out)', '1980' en 'Keep It Up'. Een spannend pakket en een passend eerbetoon aan een van de grootste funkbands uit New York. Bevat de R&B #1's 'Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)' en 'Express' plus de 7”-versies van beide nummers. Met fantastische hoesnotities van journalist Lois Wilson. BT Express tekende bij productiebedrijf Roadshow Records en vervolgens werd een deal gesloten met Scepter. Aanvankelijk namen ze op als de Madison Street Express - ze repeteerden in de Madison Street in Brooklyn - maar het label stond erop dat ze hun naam zouden veranderen en BT Express was geboren - BT afkorting voor Brothers Vrachtwagenrijden, maar de groep vond het niet leuk, dus veranderde het in Brooklyn Transit. Hun debuutalbum 'Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)' uit 1974 werd opgenomen in Ultra-Sonic Recording Studios in Hempstead, Long Island met producers Jeff Lane en Trade Martin en arrangeur Randy Muller die ook optrad met Brass Construction. Het album kreeg ook een Gold-certificering. Andere belangrijke nummers in dit pakket zijn 'Give It What You Got', 'Peace Pipe', 'Can't Stop Groovin' Now, 'Wanna Do It Some More' en 'Shout It Out'. The Definitive Collection - Do It ‘Til You’re Satisfied van B.T. Express, met release datum 24 mei 2024, bevat de volgende nummers: "Once You Get It", "Mental Telepathy", "Do You Like It", "This House Is Smokin'" en meer.Deze versie van The Definitive Collection - Do It ‘Til You’re Satisfied verschijnt als een 4xCD in een Clamshell box verpakking.
