Het is een mooi en goed geïllustreerd boek waarbij de geschiedenis van the haunted mansion en andere mansions / manor goed word omschreven. Jammer dat niet alles word vrijgegeven mbt specialeffects. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Dit boek mag niet ontbreken als Disney en Halloween fan. Goede kennis van de Engelse taal is wel handig.
