Dit boek is onmisbaar voor iedereen die wil begrijpen hoe biologie en cultuur bij de mens al miljoenen jaren in wisselwerking staan, en hoe 'individuele' kennis eigenlijk bijna steeds cumulatieve, iteratieve, culturele kennis is. Zeer interessante publicatie met een heldere boodschap, die een grote impact heeft gehad op mijn visie op de menselijke cultuur.
Enig minpunt dat ik kan bedenken is dat enige academische voorkennis aan te raden is, gezien er in dit boek vaak experimenten en studies in detail beschreven worden.
