Leuk boek. Mooi geschreven, verhaal neemt je goed mee in de levens van alle personages. Ik heb ervan genoten en echt meegeleeft. Het taalgebruik is erg mooi en brengt je echt het wereldje in.

Geschreven bij The Trouble with Goats and Sheep

Two friends, Grace and Tilly - both ten years old, decide to spend their summer holiday to find Mrs. Creasy. One morning the lady was just gone and her husband walks to the bus stop every day, to see if she will come back.

They visit their neighbours with the excuse to lend a hand and while cleaning or doing some gardening, they ask all sorts of questions about the lady that is missing. Most of the neighbours do not want to talk about her, but everyone seems to have a slip of the tongue. And slowly, the story unfolds and their secrets are starting to be shown. The disappearance of Mrs. Creasy unravels, while the girls dig around.

This is a very interesting story, sort of mystery, with hilarious dialogues between the girls and the adults. It is also very well written, the chapters are well balanced and reveals all the things that people are ashamed of in their lives.
