Martin Kemp is een gerenommeerd kunsthistoricus. Hij is emeritus hoogleraar Kunstgeschiedenis in Oxford en was curator voor verschillende tentoonstellingen over Leonardo da Vinci voor musea als het Victoria & Albert Museum in Londen en de National Gallery of Art in Washington.
