One of the best books about parenting of toddlers written by a leading children psychologist!
It dares to question most of the main-stream parenting "dogma's" and methods and it gives much better alternatives for parenting your child without destroying your relationship and your child's potential to develop into an independent, intelligent, self-confident, empathetic and passionate adult.
Author gives to the reader a lot of supporting evidence from the newest brain-research and helps to see the world through the eyes of their children, who perceive the world quite differently than the adults do.
Book provides very simple, easy to read explanations, tips and real-life examples. It introduces CRUCIAL toddler parenting strategy based on Control, Rhythm, Understanding, Communication, Individual, Avoidance and Love.
It's more about creating the right attitude and listening to yourself and to your kids, than about applying certain parenting methods. Once you read it, you start developing your own method and it is, believe me, working very well!
