Dik fotoboek met op elke 2 pagina's 1 x grote foto. Kleurrijk en vaak (sfeer-)vol. Hoe langer je kijkt, hoe meer je ziet.

Het zijn prachtige beelden van het dagelijks leven in de stad en ook van juist niet alledaagse traditionele bijeenkomsten. Uniek dat de fotograaf daar bij kon zijn. Soms zou je meer achtergrond willen weten: wat gebeurt daar nou precies?

Koek fotografeert in 'Tokyo Tokyo' sterk uiteenlopende onderwerpen. Die samen in dit boek bij elkaar lijken te horen. Ik ben zelf niet in Tokyo geweest, maar na dit boek voel ik liefde voor de stad.

Schitterend boek om tegelijkertijd met anderen (je kinderen) te bekijken, omdat de beelden uitlokken tot allerlei uitspraken. Zo hoor je nog eens wat.
