Becoming Me

How do you become yourself?Well to me, that’s not something you just do. You are always yourself, and you are always becoming yourself because of the ability we all have to change every passing day, week and year. We are forever moving forward. And, even when we’re acting like someone else, we’re still becoming ourselves, because it, for some people, is a constant battle to figure out the big question of “Who am I?”. For the most part, I always knew, somewhat, who I was. I was the super creative and sensitive girl who would rather sit in a corner and draw, than communicate with people, who made it clear, they did not understand my mind. I was different. As time passed, I got more pieces to fit the puzzle of who I am, and I am still gathering them for each new experience and situation, I come across.I am the highly sensitive artist who can’t stick to one art form, because they all speak to me. I am the person who find pride in being different, even when it makes certain people look at me strangely. I DO NOT care, if they get me, because if nothing else, I know, I am real. I know, I am creative, sensitive, introvert, honest to default and I am the person that will do everything to make a person, whom I care for, smile on days that swallow up all their light.More importantly, for you guys though; I am the author and song writer that can’t help but put every fiber of who I am and what I feel into my art. AND I am the author that proudly stands tall while telling you; yes, I am an Introvert and I have a Highly Sensitive Personality and guess what I embrace every part of it, because I love that it makes me multi-creative. I am not ashamed of my flaws and weak spots, but I am proud of who they make me, and I will always encourage everyone of you to be the same.So, who am I?Well, I am becoming me.
