Defending Government Why Big Government Works

For courses in Introduction to Political Science, Public Policy, Bureaucracy, Public Administration, Honors courses in American Government or in courses dealing with the Public Sector. This text focuses on the decline in public trust in government and the efforts of the public to use the powers of democratic governing to improve the lives of people-especially people who require such government intervention.
