Escaping a city of zombies is one thing. Escaping a whole country of them is something else. Tom Goode finds himself alternately hunted and haunted by the dead. Only a handful of survivors are left to join him on the perilous route out of London, and they have little to defend themselves with other than hope. A host of deadly creatures is emerging alongside the relentless zombies, a result of the infection that is destroying the world.
