Na een lange periode van niet door boeken heen te komen, werd mij “Empire of Sand” aangeraden. Na het lezen van het eerste hoofdstuk wilde ik steeds verder lezen en kon ik het boek amper wegleggen. Elke vrije minuut die ik had gebruikte ik om verder te lezen. Normaal lees ik geen fantasy, maar het verhaal van Mehr(hoofdpersoon) is enorm intrigerend wat maakt dat “empire of Sand” zoveel meer is dan just a fantasy book.
