In questo volume sono contenuti I contribute di 55 gruppi di ricerca: - DICATECH: 9 - DICAR: 12 - DMMM: 10 - DEI: 11 - DIF: 12 - I-D: 1 I “gruppi di ricerca” sono i veri protagonisti nel Politecnico di Bari sia dell’avanzamento disciplinare, sia dell’elaborazione di progetti al servizio del territorio (la cosiddetta terza missione), in genere in base al trasferimento tecnologico e del know-how. Essi incrociano l’avanzamento tecnologico (KETS) con le sfide sociali (SCS) KETs: nanotecnologie; materiali avanzati; sviluppo sostenibile; edifici ad alta efficienza energetica; le fabbriche del futuro; industrie di trasformazioni sostenibili. - SCs: salute, cambiamento demografico e benessere; sicurezza alimentare agricoltura e silvicoltura sostenibili; ricerca sulle acque del mare e interne; bio-economia; energia sicura, pulita e efficiente, trasporti intelligenti, verdi e integrati; azione per il clima, l’ambiente, l’efficienza delle risorse e delle materie prime; l’Europa in un mondo che cambia: società inclusive, innovative e riflessive; Società sicure: proteggere la libertà e la sicurezza dell’Europa e dei suoi cittadini. This volume contains the contributions of 55 research groups: - DICATECH: 9 - DICAR: 12 - DMMM: 10 - DEI: 11 - DIF: 12 - I-D: 1 The“research groups” are the real stars of the disciplinary progress in the Politecnico di Bari, and of the development of projects in the service of the territory (the so-called third mission), usually based on the transfer of technology and of know-how. They mixed the technological advancement (KETS) with the social challenges (SCS). Key Enabling Technologies (KETs): Nanotechnologies; Advanced materilas; Sustainable development; Energy-efficient buildings, Factories of the Future, and Sustainable Process Industries. Societal Challenges (SCs): Health, demographic change and wellbeing; Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research, and the Bio-economy: Secure, clean and efficient energy; Smart, green and integrated transport; Climate action environment, resource efficiency and raw materials: Europe in a changing world-inclusive, innovative and reflective societies; Secure societies – protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens.
