Portraits in a Secure Hospital

In a secure hospital somewhere in the Netherlands, an educational assistant, Cor experiences the warmth, the uncertainty, and the explanations of a culprit. The endless waiting for the freedom that some of them never experienced. These portraits reflect the harsh reality of our desperate and often damaged fellow man, trapped far from the society. HPM Kamphuis was born in Brabant where she still lives with her family. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy where she studied painting. She took Economics at VLVU and took OSO masters at Fontys. She has a private education office and gives lectures across the country on how to deal with learning and behavioral disorder.
