Engman's commissions stand in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Jerusalem. They are also found in the Hirshhorn, MOMA, Whitney, and numerous college museums. He was a professor at Yale and Penn, significantly influencing today's American sculptors. Engman continues to explore the relationships of planes and produces dynamic sculptures in series, with warped surfaces of curvilinear shapes.
