"Son of a Dog" is a satiric/humorous work of fiction, solidly based on real-life events. It begins with a little girl who, at age 7, was given a puppy from her parents. Months later, she was crushed and heartbroken when a new home was found for him. The tone of the story changes quickly, however.Fast-forward thirty years later. The girl, now a grown woman, adopts a retired, rescued Greyhound. And the games begin. The dog causes her to enter into some hilarious situations with the neighbors, her boss, mall security, the police and more.
