The Healing Angel Within

For every person the story of life is the eternal quest for answers to the multitude of questions we are driven to ask. The constant search for simple solutions to the challenges we face is a peculiar aspect of human nature. Our inherent sense of curiosity encourages us to believe that a better solution lies around the next corner.Actually, this is the search for inner contentment, and it involves a certain amount of inner-faith, allied to the development of a healthy mental attitude.Similarly, it is true that lots of patience is required, as well as facing the fact that it is possible to sometimes find more than one correct answer. As I write these words I remain conscious this is the ongoing puzzle that continues to tax some of the cleverest minds in the world.In the final analysis you are who you are, simply because you are the person you have chosen to be. When you get out of bed in the morning, you put on the clothes of the person you were the previous day. As a creature of habit you assume the same mannerisms as before, continue to think the same thoughts, to carry on with the same customary routine and even express the same beliefs you always did. To quote the words of the great feminist and writer, Anais Nin "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." Basically, throughout the journey of life you gradually mould yourself in your own image. Yet, everyone knows these moulds are made to be broken, and as you are an organic part of nature, deep within your heart you also know it is possible to alter and change this image of yourself as often as you wish. This is the reason why the person you are today is not necessarily the person you are destined to become in the future. To describe what this means I call upon the words of people chosen from a wide variety of fields. Amongst their number are singers, writers, people in public life, spiritual gurus, adventurers, philosophers, sportspeople and quite a few others. Their words of wisdom are employed to give encouragement, illustrate enlightenment, and offer guidance, to reveal deep knowledge and more. The business of life is a complicated procedure, its creation forms a pattern specifically designed to suit your needs. This is the story of life, that as you age creates a colourful tapestry that wonderfully illustrates your ever-changing story, unravelling your history that you are at liberty to alter when the fancy takes you.
