The Remnants of Hope

Aidan hates the planet No Worth. Whether it is the loss of his father on the long journey from Earth, the dying state of the colony planet, or the way he and his sister are treated, he has more than enough reasons to hate his new home. If only he were normal, but he and his twin sister, Raelynn, have never been normal. They've spent their whole lives hiding their differences, especially their ability to sense and feel each other's emotions. But their ability has been noticed by something else on the dying planet.
