The Story of Patsy the Seagull

Patsy the seagull and his friend, Harriet, love living at the beach and spending their days fishing for food in the ocean and visiting their human friends, the two Grandma Pats, for some potato chip treats.


One day, a hurricane blew on the beach and carried Patsy and Harriet into a westward wind current, all the way to a lake in Pennsylvania. They had never seen the different animals, especially one as big as Dexter the Deer, and they were afraid. Mr. and Mrs. Duck befriended them and showed them the beauty of a lake even though it was so different from a beach. Did they decide to stay at the lake or did they go back home?
