Samenvatting

Delving into a world once shrouded in complete mystery and impenetrable security, this investigative report provides a fascinating account of the annual meetings of the worlds most powerful people--the Bilderberg Group. Since its inception in 1954 at the Bilderberg Hotel in the small Dutch town of Oosterbeek, the Bilderberg Group has been comprised of European prime ministers, American presidents, and the wealthiest CEOs of the world, all coming together to discuss the economic and political future of humanity. The working press has never been allowed to attend, nor have statements ever been released on the attendees' conclusions or discussions, which have ramifications on the citizens of the world. Using methods that resemble the spy tactics of the Cold War--and in several instances putting his own life on the line--the author did what no one else has managed to achieve: he learned what was being said behind the closed doors of the opulent hotels and has made it available to the public. This second edition includes an entirely new chapter and updated information on topics such as an earlier attempt to break up Canada and the portents of a North American union.

  • A Warning for Democracy

This book is to be esteemed in its value better if one has read at least the first two parts of the book Rule by Secrecy written by Jim Marrs. The book contains mainly a summary of information, with in between two times a personal story written in novel-style, which was a pleasant alternation, and by which he also showed to be a good story-writer.

The book is warning for the dangers of descicions taken over the heads of unknowing individual civillians, which are of an influence on a world-level, but also effect the individual in consequence with the reduction of their souverenity wrights. The first two appendixes appeared to be valuable addition also to the book it self.

Nice about this books is that we can compare the narration of Estulin with the devellopments over the last five turbulent years. The book is however not completely objective. In the first place Bilderberg conferences are about policy for conservation of their proper prosperity with a changing world-market. And indeed the wrights of the individual civillian are to them less 'interesting'. But the book is also written with a kind of anti-Bilderberg subjectivity. Likewise Estulin writes next to a copy of a letter from the French ministry of internal affairs, that this is a writing of complaint regarding the issue that the Bilderbergers did not inform the French Police before the gathering coming in France 2003, while in fact the letter in french was just a report regarding the protection of certain conference participaters mentioned by a privat compagny S.P.H.P. under the command of the CRS lieutenant Martin. Also comparing page 31, 209 and 240 about Tony Blair is written suggestive. That is a pitty, but if we take in mind of a certain subjectivity of opinion, it still remains an interesting book that is warning against 'George Orwell - 1984' kind of dangers that lie on the look-out in the society with also a fargoing technological devellopent wich may start to control the individual civillian completely.
