We Are The Light Of The World

The intention of this book is not only for you the reader to enjoy but also that my life might be hope for those of you that find life difficult in one way or another. Life is like a big puzzle whether you live a short life or a long one. Each event is a piece of that puzzle. Sometimes we may think a piece of that puzzle is missing! Not so, eventually that piece will show up. The Lord has a plan for our lives.We can’t go through this life and not face problems. Sometimes we get in the way and cause our own problems, but eventually the Lord intervenes and starts pushing the doors open in the right direction for our lives. There have been times when I have felt deserted, neglected and unloved, but there were and are also times I have felt not only the love of God but the love of others around me. Love is the engine that runs the train of our lives.It is the only thing we will take to heaven with us. We are the light of the world, a city built on a hill. The other things we value on Earth are just that… Things and they will be left behind when Jesus bids us to Come. While we are here we are the candle for those who watch us. As Christians, we are to be… All of these things… And more!This is a story of my life. Not all of it is written here as 85 years of living would be too much as I am sure you will agree. I am not saying I am perfect… No one is. We all make mistakes but forgiveness is always there from our Heavenly Father. Our Bible tells us we not only need to forgive others but also ourselves, no one is perfect.
