From the start, 13-year-old Thomas Thomas Thomas is in trouble: shrimp lo mein gives him farts. Then a letter arrives telling him his parents just died, and a relative attempts to steal his scalp to add to the bald man's collection of boy-sized, tiny toupees. With an evil Mr. Gloome after him, Thomas and Evol, the circus girl who likes him, head out in search of a clown and a pirate who might have more information about Thomas' family and his name. Author's note -- And yes, there is a typo on the back cover. And probably numerous typos within.
