Rachman schrijft op vlotte wijze hoe de "Sterke Man" aan de macht komt en hoe snel ze tegenspraak proberen te onderdrukken. In korte maar goed leesbare hoofdstukken worden de "Sterke Mannen" onder de loep genomen. Bijzonder is dat hij de rol van de Westerse media benadrukt bij types als Mohamed bin Salman of Narenda Modi. Ook durft hij zelf in de spiegel te kijken en te erkennen dat hij er naast zat qua voorspellingen.

Een van de betere boeken over dit onderwerp.
