    Geschreven bij A Mother's Reckoning

    Wat ik voordien van de Columbine shootings wist, wist ik van online artikels en documentaires, interviews met slachtoffers of hun families. Ik had echter nog nooit iets gezien of gelezen van de families van de daders.

    A Mothers Reckoning is absoluut een hartverscheurend verhaal. Het is goed geschreven, eerlijk, boeiend, krachtig en ik moet zeker zeggen, zeer respectvol naar de slachtoffers toe. Vooral hartbrekend zijn de stukken in het verhaal waar Sue Klebold zich haar zoon herinnerd, terwijl ze probeert om bij elkaar te puzzelen wie hij eigenlijk was en hoe zijn verschrikkelijke daden tot stand kwamen.
