Auteur is sinds jaar en dag verbonden aan de Financial Times. Dát gaf voor mij de doorslag boek te kopen. Philip Stephens geeft een prachtig onderbouwd en objectief overzicht en inzicht in de zin en waanzin van de UK politiek na WOII. Onmisbaar voor iemand die geïnteresseerd is in de drivers achter Brexit. Dit langere lijnen die hij trekt heb ik nog niet zo eerlijk en helder zien geformuleerd. Pet af
