    Geschreven bij Mirror Mirror

    Gregory Maguire has taken Snow White and placed in our own history. With elements of the real and the unreal it is a fascinating book to read.
    Maguire included all the basic elements of the classic tale in his story. There is the wicked 'queen', in this case the eldest daughter of the Borgia Pope, an absent father, a hunter and of course there are the seven dwarfs.
    What I love most about this book is that Maguire give you the feeling it should be real. All the characters are so human, even those seven itty-bitty men.
    And of course it really is a fun book to read. Hopping from one storyline to the other and here and there a break with a riddling poem, Maguire's made 'Mirror Mirror' a truly enchanting tale.
