    Het is een fantastisch boek dat leest als een trein! Eleanor laat zich kennen als een boeiende en gedreven vrouw die ook niet schroomt haar menselijke kanten te beschrijven. Haar idealisme lijkt in onze huidige tijd soms wat naïef maar is daarom niet minder inspirerend. Zowel voor de liefhebbers van human interest als wel voor lezers met historische belangstelling een aanrader.
