    Geschreven bij Promise

    Robert Crais levert weer een mooi avontuur van Elvis en Joe af, zoveelste in een serie (zou de anderen ook lezen als ik jou was). En doet dat met gevoel voor humor. De schrijver maakt levensechte figuren van onze twee helden. Schrijfstijl past in het genre Dennis Lehane (Patrick en Angela serie), Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock en Watson) en David Baldachi. Deze keer worden ze bij gestaan door herdershond Maggie en haar baasje Scott. Voor wie nog nooit in het hoofd van een herder heeft gekeken; Crais doet een goede poging om je Maggies wereld te laten beleven.Het is niet de allerspannendste Elvis en Joe-novel, maar desalniettemin een pageturner voor iedereen die van detectives houdt. Veel leesplezier!
