Lorenza de’ Medici began her career as editor for Novità and Vogue magazines. Next she started to write books. The first was a children’s cookbook for Emme Edizioni. Followed by recipe books for editors such as Mondadori and Fratelli Fabbri Editori.
In the early eighties, Lorenza started the culinary school at Badia a Coltibuono, and her writing carrier became very international with books published in English, German, etc. At the same time, she starred in The De’ Medici Kitchen, a television series, fourteen episodes for PBS public television station. The program was also aired in Australia.
