Het verhaal zit zo goed in elkaar, de wereld die Arden heeft gecreëerd is sprookjesachtig mooi. De personages zijn stuk voor stuk goed uitgewerkt en het uiteindelijke verhaal is spannend en origineel. Prachtig boek! En oh die cover.

Het is een origineel Fantasy-verhaal dat zich voor de verandering afspeelt in Rusland. Het bevat alle elementen om een spannend verhaal te zijn echter klikte voor mij deze elementen net niet helemaal in elkaar.

Een spannend sprookje

Het is de derde deel van een trilogie. Het is mooi geschreven, sprookjesachtig, met veel fantasie en ook heel spannend. Vasilisa Petrovna volgt haar eigen weg, heel moedig. Met haar gave kan ze veel bereiken en bepaalde zaken recht zetten.
