Geschreven bij Ultimate History Of Video Games
De titel van dit boek is een beetje misleidend. 'Ultimate' is echt een te groot begrip voor dit boek. Het boek behandelt vooral de industrie achter de videogames. En dat is anno 2010 zeer groot, ofschoon er vragen gesteld kunnen worden zoals uitspraken van de hoogste baas bij Sony die stellig ervan overtuigd is dat internet onzin is ? ? Maar goed, dat gaat over internet en we hebben het hier over videogames. Videogames zijn intrigrerend, fascinerend, en in sommige gevallen absolute kunstwerken. Het is een niet meer weg te denken populaire cultuur dat ooit begon met Pong. Ik had dit boek beter gevonden als het geschiedenis rond de videogames had beschreven. Ik kan dit boek niet aanraden.
