Ik heb de oudere versie van dit boek. En die is al geweldig! Er staan veel authentieke recepten in die makkelijk te maken zijn. En zo tover je de lekkerste gerechten op tafel. Mijn testpanel bestaat uit Irakezen, die zeer te spreken waren over de gerechten uit eigen land. De nieuwe versie van het boek heeft mooiere illustraties en is iets anders van indeling. Het boek beschrijft niet alleen de recepten, maar verhaalt ook over de geschiedenis, (eet)cultuur en kunst. Kortom: Het is een feest om dit boek te lezen en ermee te werken!
